Doug ended up coaching Jayde's soccer team this year.  He had a great group of girls they all got along really well and played hard for him.  They had a great season and I'm sad that Jayde won't be with them again next year since she'll be playing on an ASE team.  What a great group of girls!

This scene is starting to get more and more common around our house (atleast when it's quiet...which usually means all of her siblings are at school!)  She'll find her binkie and blanket when I'm busy with something and next thing I know she's like this!

We have had this toy since Jayde was a baby (or maybe it was Ryann...) either way we've had it for a while now.  The kids love to play with it still.  CJ was playing with Cassie opening and shutting the door and playing peek a boo!

You know she's saying that her Mom is #1!  She's such a sweet little thing.  She's been cruising more and more lately.  She likes to go slow and steady though, think it's because she's afraid she's going to get plowed over!

Happy Easter everyone! We had a fun day with family. We went over to my parents house and the kids had fun hunting easter eggs followed by a yummy dinner!

Jaxon was enjoying some time in the nice sunshine today. He has had a rough couple of days. On Thursday night (or I guess more like Friday morning, since it was a little after midnight) Doug had to take him to the ER, he was coughing alot and having a hard time catching his breath even after using his nebulizer. Turns out he has croup. He is starting to feel a lot better, though once he starts moving around he starts having coughing fits again.

Jayde was my bunny helper today for my Easter Mini Sessions. She did a great job helping me keep track of Cuddles and was a great photographers assistant!

CJ is really liking having our bunny guest this weekend. I set up her play pen outside this afternoon to let her get some fresh air and some exercise (not to mention some yummy grass to eat)! All the kids love petting and spending time with her.

This sweet little thing is my cute and cuddly house guest for the weekend. A friend of ours was nice enough to lend her to us for my Easter Mini Sessions on Sunday. Her name is Cuddles and she is a very sweet bunny. I think the kids are going to be sad when I have to give her back!

Doogie's class had a field trip today to the Whitman Mission and Fort Walla Walla. I was lucky enough to be able to go with them. We had a good time even though the bus driver did cut our time a little shorter than what it was supposed to be. I promised Doogie that we would make a trip out with the whole family and really take our time touring the Mission and Fort. This is a Douglas Fir that Doogie is standing in front of. It is from the Mt Baker National Forest in the Cascade Mountains. It is was cut down in 1970 and according to the growth rings the tree germinated approximately in the year 1200!

Little Miss Cass has been kind of a pill for the past couple days. At first we thought she might have another ear infection, but she checked out just fine. She is however working on getting those molars...so that could be why she's been a bit of a stinker lately! I put her in my rocking chair to distract her and she just thought she was the coolest little thing that ever lived rocking back and forth in it!

CJ was mad at me because I wouldn't let him come into the kitchen while I was working on making dinner so he was giving me his angry face. I was trying to get him to do it again so I could get a picture of it and Doogie said that he would make his angry face and proceeded to make a face like so....I started laughing and told him that he looked like a grumpy old man! When I showed him the picture he started laughing as well (along with everyone else) and CJ's temper tantrum disappeared!

The kids love Movie Night and tonights movie was the new Narnia that just came out. Ryann was sitting in Doug's lap checking out the pictures that came along with the movie before the movie got started. They all really enjoyed the movie, not to mention the yummy popcorn!

Camping in the backyard is so much fun (well pretend camping anyways!) We have had this play tent since Doogie was a little guy and they still have so much fun with it. Looking forward to doing a lot of camping this summer!

Cassie discovered the sand today! She had such a great time playing on the playground that I don't think I'll be able to keep her in one spot anymore. She has definitely discovered all that she has been missing watching her siblings play without her!

I just love the dresses that my Mother-in-Law made for the girls, so I had to do a photo shoot of them wearing the dresses. It's funny how much more patience I have photographing other people's kids from my own! When we got there Ryann was being kind of a pill and by the time she got in the mood for pictures Cassie decided she was done! As I was going through all the pictures I took of the girls, this one really jumped out at me! I love how Jayde and Ryann are cracking up about something (probably making jokes about their mom the photographer!)

Wow! She is growing up! I don't think I realized just how much until I was looking at this picture and thinking how much older she looks in it. Though I guess it really shouldn't be that surprising considering she is going to be 7 next month.

We were having fun today with Cassie's hair, can you tell? She likes to moose it up anyways with her food, so I decided to give it a little more help with some hair gel! She was cracking us all up with her smiles and of course that tongue of hers! We were playing peek-a-boo with her behind my curtain and I was able to get this picture! I love my Wild thing!

I know I usually post pictures of my kiddos, but just ask any photographer and they will tell you that their camera is their baby too! My "new baby" came in the mail today and I thought I was going to hug the UPS guy (just kidding...maybe!) I would of liked to have gone for the 5D Mark II but it just wasn't in the budget at this time. I am still really excited though to now have the 60D it's a big jump up from my Rebel that I have been using! Can't wait until the battery is done charging so I can see what this baby can do! Oh and did I also mention it does video as well?! *Happy Dance!!*

Life is good as long as I have my blanket and binkie! She loves her blanket and binkies....and it has to be that blanket! I recently tried to go back to the store where I had originally found the blanket to begin with (I brought her home from the hospital in this blanket!) and they no longer had it! I did find one that was really similar to it (atleast in texture, softness, etc... wise) it just wasn't the same colored material (which I don't think she necessarily minded) and it didn't have the satin binding (that's the biggie!) I went ahead and got it anyways, hoping that maybe she would start reaching for it in bed...but so far no such luck. I'm wondering if I put a satin binding on it if she would want to use it more....worth a shot at any rate! God help us if we lose her blanket!!

"No Fear"....this kid is a force to be reckoned with, especially on the soccer field! When she sets her mind to something she will not stop until she accomplishes it. She is Determined! Their soccer team is doing awesome so far this year....1 tie and all the rest wins. Keep it up Chihauhuas!

"My Boys!" I was even able to get Doug to come over and pose for me today! ;) Had to move quickly though since I wasn't sure how long he was going to be able to hold onto both of them! Gotta love those boys!
